Welcome to Luso 2018!
The next edition of Luso, the annual meeting of the Portuguese Association of Researchers and Students in the United Kingdom (PARSUK), will be held on 16 of June 2018 in Lancaster, UK.
LUSO 2018 is a joint effort of Portuguese academics and researchers working at Lancaster University and PARSUK’s Executive Board. This year, the main topic is transdisciplinarity and its importance for public policies, higher education, research and life in general. The program will address the relevance of building bridges in the design of public policies, how they can address the complexities of our world and what is the role of evidence in its development.
LUSO will feature policy makers, leading scientists, artists and journalists to discuss challenges and opportunities of working across disciplinary boundaries and changing pathways throughout careers.
The morning sessions will be held in English and the afternoon sessions in Portuguese.
Join us for a memorable day!
